Dental EMI to your rescue

Dental health insurance in India

DHI is nothing but a type of health insurance that covers your necessary expenses during dental treatments. There are many companies and banks, which cover dental treatments as a part of complete health check-ups.

Why do you need it?

A lot of people around us have dental problems, sometimes due to the financial crunch at that time, many people tend to skip taking up their required dental treatments, which often leads to ignorance of health. Also, few of the dental treatments are expensive from patients’ perspectives. Due to the incorporation of advanced technology, inflation, expensive materials, and lab work dental treatments prove to be unaffordable but the treatment is essential too, EMIs/Insurances are a savior in such times.

How are insurance plans beneficial?

Helps to maintain your oral health.

As mentioned before, people often tend to underestimate their oral health problems/ dental issues which ultimately leads to serious health issues in future.

It has been observed that, although health experts recommend people to visit a dentist once in a year at least, 70% of the Indian population do not see a dentist unless they are in trouble.

However, the DHI comes in to ensure you to get your treatment done at the right time, not leaving the dental suffering until the last minute. Thus, DHI and EMIs reduce the financial burden from your mind.

Coverage policies

Many companies do not cover dental insurance under medical health policies, but some of the companies provide health insurance with outpatient department (OPD) coverage, i.e., including dental OPDs and treatments too. So if you are planning to get dental insurance too, make sure you choose the right policy.

Additional benefits

Dental insurance not only benefits you in covering dental treatment costs but also gives coverage for hospitalization and daycare procedures and complementary health checkups that too without the rental charges for a hospital room.
